Rosehip Oil For All Skin Types
Rosehip oil can reduce signs of premature aging, help alleviate dermatitis and eczema, rebuild burns, scars, moisturizers and soothes sun damaged skin, promotes elasticity and firmness to help keep you looking younger.
Rosehip oil is great for all skin types; especially mature skin, dry, blotchy and dull skin.
Use it twice a day morning and night. Overnight the oil allows your skin to breathe, while it repairs and generates new cells.
It is also known for reducing the appearance of stretch marks, it takes a few months before you will see a difference with your stretch marks. You rub the oil into the skin twice a day and be patient, it will work!

It has a high content of fatty acids, which we need to keep skin healthy and prevent early aging, as the skin has no trouble absorbing the rich fatty acids in the oil.
You are putting on your skin something which the skin itself produces (oil) and therefore, the skin needs and can use the ingredients found in rose hip oil. Unlike the chemicals found in most moisturizers, which are unknown to the human body.
If you are not getting enough of these fatty acids in your diet, such as Omega-3, Omega-6 and Omega-9, you might consider eating more fish or taking a fish oil supplement.
If a person is lacking in these essential fatty acids, it can lead to skin conditions such as dry and parched skin.
Rosehip oil also contains Vitamin A, a well known antioxidant used for wrinkles and Vitamin C.
For anti aging this is the most natural way to go.
This oil is good for dry, aging and oily skin.
There is a misconception that oil is not suitable for oily skin, yet Rosehip oil works well on this skin type, because of the fatty acids, high vitamin A, and a PH similar to our own sebum. It does not add to the oiliness of your skin, rather the oil absorbs quickly and allows the skin to breathe.
If you suffer from acne, don’t use the oil if you are having a breakout. It is very good to use after the breakout is over to help heal the skin.
Rosehip oil can be found in natural moisturizers and other skin care products, or use the oil on its own. Personally, I use the oil as it is easily absorbed into the skin and this way you get the full effect of it.
In the morning when I put it on, I wait for it to absorb into the skin and then put on sunscreen. In the evenings, I do the same, wait for the rosehip oil to absorb into the skin and then put my night moisturizer on, my skin has never looked better.
There are many brands on the market, and what you want to look for, is one which is organic and cold pressed, as this process helps to keep the essential nutrients locked in. You skin will certainly benefit from using a pure brand.
You should be able to buy organic rosehip oil from your local health store. Here is a couple of sites, where you can buy organic rosehip oil on line;
Rosa Mosqueta Rose Hip Seed Oil Organic Certified
Always buy your rosehip oil contained in glass and not plastic, as chemicals from the plastic may leach into the product.
This wonderful oil has been used for centuries in South America. It is extracted from a wild rose bush, which grows in southern Andes and Chile, and is also knows by the name of Rosa Mosqueta.
After the first couple of weeks you will notice your complexion is definitely smoother, and lines are visibly reduced after a few weeks.
A little goes a long way, so be careful of how much you use. I have made the mistake of thinking I need more and the next thing I know, I am waiting for ages for it to sink into my skin, so I can put my moisturizer on.
Less usually means more, although I often have a hard time following this concept!
