Health Benefits Of Cayenne Pepper

Ceyanne pepper is quite a miracle, and can help your body with so many things. Cayenne has very high sources of vitamin C, A and B complexes, and is very rich in organic calcium and potassium.

Many herbalists believe Cayenne is the most valuable and useful herb you can take.

I am always on the lookout for which herbs/spices to use in my diet, and ceyanne pepper is pretty much at the top of my list, actually, it is at the top of my list.  I tell everyone I know about it, I am reluctant to stop strangers on the street, even though some look like they could very well do with ceyanne pepper in their lives.

I used to sprinkle it on my food, but have since discovered drinking it on a daily basis is the way to go.  By doing it this way, your entire circulatory system, intestines, stomach and heart muscles will benefit.

I started by drinking it three times a day for two weeks, and now take a maintenance dose of twice a day.

You will not of course become skinny, but if you do include ceyanne pepper into your daily diet by drinking it, it is certainly complementary to your weight loss regimen.  You will definitely feel the wonderful effects this herb can have.

Seconds after ingesting ceyanne pepper, you will feel more energetic, which is what you want, because the more energy you have the more you are on the go, and the more you help your body burn body fat.  Your heart is strengthened by you ingesting ceyanne pepper, and will pump less, yet pump the same amount of blood, which means more ENERGY for you.

It is not easy to take, the first couple of times I felt like I was choking, or something similar.  I think I made more noise than the neighbour’s dog!!  Don’t let this put you off, this is the best thing you could do for your body.

Start with about 1/16th of a teaspoon, and gradually increase, until you get to at least a teaspoon.  Always drink with warm to hot water. 

Cayenne pepper can actually raise our metabolic rate by up to 25%, (this refers to the breakdown of food and its transformation into energy), for 3 hours after you have eaten.  It increases your circulation, and does this seconds after ingesting it.

We also need Cayenne to increase our blood flow, as this removes waste and unblocks any blockages.

Dr Christopher, is one of the leaders in American Herbal medicine and is often referred to as Dr Cayenne, he discovered if you take cayenne pepper in a glass of water three times a day, you can cure a stomach ulcer.

It has also been proven, if someone is having a heart attack give them a cup of hot water with Cayenne in it, and their heart attack will stop within 3 minutes or less. 

I recommend taking ceyanne in powder form and not capsule. The healing powers of cayenne start in your mouth, as soon as it touches your tongue.  If you take it in capsule form, your tongue and stomach don’t notice anything, until the capsule bursts and puts your body into a state of shock!!

This wonderful herb can also be used topically for bringing relief to joint pain, stiffness and sore muscles.

Varicose Veins/Spider Veins

If you suffer from spider veins or varicose veins, this is another good reason why you would want to include ceyanne pepper into your diet.  It helps to stop the pain in your legs and reduce varicose veins by making the blood flow better.

Take the ceyanne pepper as suggested above, three times a day for the first two weeks and twice a day thereafter.

There are various strengths of cayenne pepper; it is recommended you stick to the highest strength.  This way it is far more beneficial for you, also, the lower heat cayenne peppers are less beneficial and known to have contaminants in them.  These ones are usually labelled 30,000 heat units.

A close friend is now drinking ceyanne pepper with warm water.  She has suffered from many stomach problems, caused by taking prescription drugs, and anti inflammatory’s over the years and has suffered from a stomach ulcer.  She is totally amazed by how she feels, after all these years of stomach problems! 

I am not advocating the benefits of cayenne pepper is the answer for you, if you are suffering from stomach problems, but it may help.

    I have used cayenne pepper powder in capsules. That is because I have Barrets-Esophagus. Not sure whether the cayenne directly in the mouth,throat will irritate or heal the esophagus,since it does does help stomach ulcers.
    Any suggestions?

    I’ve been taking cayenne pepper for several months now. I no longer have stiff joints, I’ve lost a little bit of weight (even without working out consistently, I’m maintaining it with the cayenne).
    I’ve read it is the healthiest herb and it makes any other herbs you are taking work better.

    Cayenne Pepper also enhances blood flow. Therefore, it has been used to treat gangrene, frostbite, and other circulatory problems. also good for baking and cooking!

    So is it a waste of money to buy the cayenne tablets, which friends have told me to buy.
    At least 3 friends take the caps. for better circulaton. Darn, just bought 180 caps. _ (

    Take the capsules you will be fine. I personally take the powder but if I couldn’t stomach it, I would probably just take the capsules as well.

    I have heard and read alot about this herb and have been taking it in the powder form along with a fresh lemon, or the powder True Lemon along with a couple packets of splenda, equal, etc., in 16oz of water. Its been 6 days (I didn’t do this for three days – the weekend) and I’ve not only loss 9 lbs, my energy level is off the chart! Yes its similar to the Master Cleanse (MC) program and that was my intention was to follow the MC, however, I couldn’t see myself with the maple syrup daily. Not to fond of sweets.

    I have the energy to walk longer distances and have been picking up the pace. I don’t have joint pain (especially hip and knee) since I’ve been on this, it really has helped reduce my appetite and I am not having the hungers like I did with normal dieting. I am counting calories out of curiosity to see how much less I am consuming.

    I am female, 5’10 and 195lbs. I would like to lose 25 lbs, accordingly I should be between 142 and 165 lbs. I feel better all over and would recommend that this be tried if nothing else.
