I’ve used olive oil on my face for at least the last few years, until I switched to grapeseed oil about 3 months ago because I wanted something lighter than olive oil to massage my husband with. YES, I am noticing a positive difference on my face, which is what brought me to this site!!! I wanted to compare grapeseed and olive oils, and learned about their other benefits. Never considered using oil on my hair, but grapeseed oil on the skin appears to be working quite a bit better than olive oil!

I totally agreed. I have been using Olive oil for years as a base then put foundation on top. My skin looks fresh and lovely. Now i have heard about grapeseed oil, I will try this instead of olive oil. It worked real well on your skin and save a ton of $$$

Always use grapeseed extract on your skin, it is stronger in antioxidants.

i bought some merlot pure grape seed oil it was 7.99 for a tiny bottle is this the same thing or can i buy the cooking kind in the grocery store will it work as well?

grapeseed oil has saved my life! the skin around my eyes has been dry and tiny laugh lines have seemed more pronounced lately (according to a good friend). I’ve been using grapeseed oil for 2 weeks now and I’ll never use another overpriced eyecream again! I just wish I’d known sooner!

I absolutley agree with the above post using a gentle cleanser like olive oil soap, Thayers alcohal free witch hazel as toner and grapeseed oil as an eye cream and face conditioner. it is perfect, actually is slightly antiseptic, never stings sensitive skin. Grapeseed oil is what I use to recover from skin treatsments such as chemical peels and laser. Skin loves it, saves many dollars, you dont need expensive anti aging or eye creams.

I love grapeseed oil! I’ve been using it on my skin and hair for a few weeks now and I’m absolutely sold on it. It leaves my hair so smooth and strong. My skin is also really smooth and looks much better and much clearer (from blemishes) than a month ago.

Skin care routine: wash face with Burt’s Bees cleanser, apply Thayer’s witch hazel non-alcohol toner, and massage grapeseed oil once face dries naturally.

You may purchase grape seed oil at any grocery store. Even your local Wal-Mart carries it. Make sure you read how it is expressed… that is the most important part. If it is not “expressed” as noted in the blog above then it has been run through a series of chemicals to get the oil… NOT GOOD… A liter of oil at Kroger cost me about $5.50 and will last more than two months on whole body and face. Obviously much more economical, and better for you than main-stream beauty products! Try it for two weeks and you’ll be sold!

ALL oils will helps thicken and grow healthier stronger darker hair period and yes that includes on your head/lashes/brows..legs arms wherever you consistanty massage oil on but that doesnt mean you will end up like a hairy freak so if you massage your face with oil you wont grow a beard
