Egg White Nutrition
There is a lot of information regarding egg white nutrition, and the nutritional value of egg whites is better for you than the yolk.
The calories in egg white are virtually zero, they contain no cholesterol and are high in protein. If you are on a diet, eating the white part is better for helping you burn body fat.
Avidin is a protein found in raw egg whites, and this particular protein is far better for your body when cooked. The protein avidin binds to biotin in your body if consumed raw, and will remove it. A lot of body builders are known to put raw egg whites into a protein drink.
Many bodybuilding supplements will contain egg whites.
Of course, you would probably have to consume a lot of raw egg whites daily, but on the whole they are still not the best for your body if you don’t cook them.
Egg yolks contain so many vitamins and minerals such as; vitamin A, folate, B vitamins, trace minerals, choline, vitamin D, calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, potassium, omega 3 fatty acids and the list goes on.
1. Eating a whole egg is great for your health, and you can consume unto 7 eggs a week if you like, providing your cholesterol levels are not high.
On the other hand, egg yolks contain more fat and cholesterol. Even though the egg yolk contains more cholesterol, the yolk actually helps raise your good cholesterol, not your bad cholesterol. Many people will avoid the yolk because of this reason, but there really is no need to fear the humble yolk.
Whole eggs contain eight amino acids, lecithin and offers compact nutrition.
There is confusion over whether fertilized eggs or unfertilized eggs are better for you. Unfertilized eggs actually keep much longer, which is one of the reasons why egg producers keep the hens segregated from the rooster.
If eggs are discoloured or blotchy, they should be discarded especially if there is blood in the yolk of the egg. Specks of blood in the yolk is usually an indication the hens ovaries are hormonally unbalanced by injections or pellets given to stimulate the hen to lay more eggs.
Keep your eggs covered when in the fridge, any orders or contaminating agents in the fridge will easily pass through the egg shell.

This is great for your skin.
Gently beat an egg white, add a few drops of lemon and rub it into your wrinkles, around eyes, above lips and forehead.
It can work wonders for wrinkles, and help you look younger.
When finished prick a vitamin E capsule and gently pat around your eyes, I also like to rub it all over my face.
I love putting this mask on my face.
The shell of the egg contains magnesium, calcium and phosphorus. If you have a kitchen blender, or a coffee grinder, crush the shell into a fine powder which is no different in consistency to any other powder. Add it to flour or any baking mixtures or mix with your muesli for breakfast.
You will certainly gain egg white nutrition, yet you will gain the full nutritional value if you include the yolk too.
