Coenzyme Q10 For Wrinkles And Good Health
Coenzyme Q10 or known as (Co Q10) is found in our skin cells, and depletes as we age, like so many other things! You need coenzyme Q10, it is very important to help keep your skin looking young.
It is not only essential for your cells; it is an antioxidant, which is needed to help fight free radicals. Many now include it in their anti aging regimen.
Besides aging, coenzyme also depletes in the body due to stress and medications.
Once you hit 30 and over, you’re coenzyme Q10 levels are below the optimum amount needed, and therefore collagen and elastin, two very important skin molecules, are not being produced like they were when you were younger.
It may be something new to the skincare industry, but coenzyme is in fact not new, and its benefits for general health and nutrition are well researched.
Some skin care companies now include coenzyme Q10 in their ingredients, the problem is they use very little of it, and you will be lucky if you notice or feel a difference.
The coenzyme Q10 is also added in such a way, that the small amount which is in the cream will not penetrate the skin in anyway!
Therefore, it is important you research any product which claims to have this important ingredient in it, and make sure you are getting the amount needed to make a difference.

The skin care product I am now using is from Xtend Life, it contains a natural ingredient called Nano-Lipobelle H-EQ10, which is the penetratable form of coenzyme Q10, and the amount of coenzyme Q10 in their skin care range far exceeds other skin care products.
I was taking a supplement which containes coenzyme Q10 for a couple of years. I don’t take it anymore, not for any particular reason, I have just moved on to other things, but I am sure I will take it up again sometime down the track.
The supplement I was taking is called Total Balance, which contains coenzyme Q10, it also contains the precursors the body needs in order to make its own natural CoQ10 levels to help this further.
Precursor is a compound that participates in the chemical reaction that produces another compound. (I hope this makes sence to you).
Coenzyme Q10 can be found in food, especially fish and meat, but in very minute amounts and most of these amounts can be destroyed by processing.
By including Coenzyme Q10, you will be able to boost the skins ability to repair and renew, resulting in helping to fight free radical damage, and also help fight against UV rays from the sun.
Coenzyme Q10 can help with
- hypertension
- stomach ulcers
- impotence
- help aid weight loss
- improve aerobic performance.
- enhance immune system
- cardiovascular diseases (involves heart or blood vessels)
- help with migraines
- lower high blood pressure
People with parkinson’s disease, cancer and diabetes have shown to have much lower levels of coenzyme Q10.
Research has proven long term use has been known to reduce crow’s feet around the eyes, can increase energy levels and help with mental clarity.
The best way to take it is in supplement form, and for people aging it can help tremendously with many health problems.
Taking this supplement alone, to help cure you of an illness is probably not the best way to go about it. In such a case, consult with your Doctor first and remember, it is great added to your quest for better health and looking younger.

COQ10 Vitamin is also called as Coenzyme Q10, vitamin Q or ubiquinone. It is good for health. It helps to treat Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, to get supple young skin, reduces wrinkles, improves hair texture, prevents gum disease. But lactating mothers are advised to not consume the supplements of CoQ10. Also, a set of 200mg a day should not be crossed as it can cause nauseous feeling and loose motions.
