It is the richest source of omega 3 fatty acids; it also contains B vitamins, potassium, lecithin, magnesium, fiber, protein and zinc. It also contains natural antioxidants beta-carotene (vitamin A) and carotenoids (carotenoids are a class of natural fat-soluble pigments found principally in plants) and lignans (which may also have antioxidant activity).

There have been some studies which have reported people with high levels of lignans in the body have reduced risks of prostate cancer, ovarian cancer, breast cancer, cardiovascular disease and osteoporosis. Lignans can also counter hormone related problems and ward off some of the effects of certain bacteria and fungi.

 I had to read this book about 3 times before it all started to sink in.  There are only 59 pages so it was easy to do and I have gained valuable information from it.

Written by Dr. Johanna Budwig, a German biochemist who is a leading authority on fats and nutrition.  Discusses fats in our bodies, what fat actually is and what it does.

I originally bought this book to gain more insight into how I could help my mother who suffers from arthritis. 

This book will be of great benefit to you or those you know, suffering from any kind of illness, or for those who just want to maintain good health. 

Dr. Johanna Budwig discovered after studying thousands of blood samples, the difference between healthy people and people who are ill.  The difference being, healthy people have more Omega 3 oils in their blood. 

She is highly recognised for helping people achieve better health, who are suffering from cancer and other life threatening illnesses.  There is also some interesting information on diabetes, which could change some people’s lives. 

Dr. Johanna Budwig has helped people overcome illnesses by putting them on a flaxseed oil diet.

I have both of these books, as one goes with the other in understanding illnesses in the body, and achieving better, long lasting health. 

If you are suffering from an illness, I think you will be totally amazed at how much your health will improve by incorporating flaxseed oil and cottage cheese into your diet, it is so simple and easy.

I now have a couple of friends who suffer from illnesses, doing the flaxseed oil diet.

I cannot recommend these books enough, I have followed the diet, only because I will do anything to maintain perfect health.  Although I didn’t need to, I am happy I have discovered the books, and able to help others.

After reading these books you will be truly amazed, and the reason why her discoveries have not been widely known, is because of money.  The drug companies are not going to make a lot of money from people buying flaxseed oil and cottage cheese!

If you suffer from any kind of illness, you will certainly benefit from following what is suggested in these books.  Or, if there is anyone in your life suffering illness and pain, their life can be turned around by these two little books.

Buy your flaxseed oil in an opaque plastic bottle, as this will prevent the light from spoiling it.  Check expiration date as the oil spoils quickly, and keep it in the fridge, if the oil develops a powerful odour, discard it.

I buy my flaxseed oil from the Health Food Shop and always buy organic, cold pressed.  If in doubt, contact your health physician.
