You don’t need to pack in all the sources of biotin, it is rare for a person to be deficient in this particular vitamin, unless you are an alcoholic. Alcohol inhibits the absorption of this particular vitamin and other B vitamins.
There are some medications which can also interfere with its absorption, so you may want to check with your local GP if you are on any medication.
If you are suffering from any of the above symptoms, it doesn’t mean you are lacking in biotin, although it would be worth getting it checked out.
You need to take a supplement for a few months before you will notice a difference with your hair and nails. It is often referred by dermatologists for helping people with hair loss.
You can also wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner which contains biotin and silica benefits, to help give your hair that added thickness.
Interestingly, people with type A blood don’t fully absorb B vitamins (did you know that?), since biotin is a B vitamin, and your blood type A, then you may want to take a higher dosage then what is recommended on the bottle.
Looking younger, you can’t go past the benefits of biotin, it is a must for us women!
