I love all the benefits of taking ACV, except for one thing – weight loss. I have always been thin and have a hard time gaining weight, so I guess ACV is not for me! Exactly what is the mechanism for the aledged fat loss properties of ACV ???

I’ve been drinking acv for a week now to help with a sore thoat at first an then a cold. It is amazing! It took the sore throat away for about 2-3hrs. And keep the sinus clear. Whenever I felt the sinus closing up I would sip a mixture of honey an acv an water, an could breathe again! It also gave me energy to be able to do my job. Since I’m not allowed sick days right now, this was awesome! I didn’t feel completely perfect, but didn’t have to go to the Dr. and use antibiotics! And I notice my skin is looking smoother and the pores are shrinking! I’m 40 years old. An feel 26!

It certainly does make sense to eat more fruit and vegetables, yet many people live very busy lives, so finding quick and healthy alternatives can make a difference.

Basically, there’s little if any benefits with vinegar. As you’ve rightly realised, this internet myth is easily disproved by simply looking at the bottle or doing a quick net search.
It’s believed the rumour was started by a certain vinegar company, but certainly its grown, with people now spouting nonsense about how an acid ‘alkalizes’ your body, total rubbish of course.

It changes the alkalinity naturally occuring in digestion is a given. I am new to the ACV but after just four days into a tblspn to 8 oz water morning before medicine then breakfast and again before bedtime the age spots on my hands are almost gone and the spider veins in my cheeks are receding (I am very Irish).

I love acv! I was severly underweight due to bowel problems teamed with ibs. i tried everything to gain weight with no outcome. i also suffered kidney infections religiously at least twice a month and acne on my chin. since i started acv (nearly a yr ago) ive put nearly 3 stone on in weight my acne has dissapeared and my bowel and ibs problems are non existent. i wont lie at first it tastes vile will more than likely give u gas and cramps for the first week or so but stick with it and you will reap the rewards. i actually find it quite a refreshing drink now
